Topical & State of the Industry Seminars
Media Management in a Hybrid Cloud Ecosystem
This course is targeted at individuals and stakeholders that create, use, manipulate and distribute media within your organization and would potentially use or benefit from media management solutions. Engineering and IT staff responsible for managing and deploying such systems are also appropriate.
Participants will gain a strong understanding of the state of the media management industry, the suppliers, the business areas where media management solutions have been successfully deployed as well as how to approach selecting and moving forward with media management projects.
This one-day course is divided into seven major segments.
Practical AI Integration into Modern, Optimized Media Supply Chains
The term AI is so loosely used today that it means almost nothing. In this seminar we change that. We show where and how different AI services, tools and applications are being effectively used within the Media Supply Chain today. We then outline the different tasks supported and capabilities delivered with AI today and discuss the maturity and risks of their use - again within different workflow supporting the media supply chain.
Additionally, we look at the rapidly evolving generative AI space applied to M&E needs. We discuss how it is impacting existing AI services and tools such as those used for natural language processing (NLP), speech text, production, marketing and software development to name a few.
We close with an open discussion of effectiveness of AI as a co-pilot in our organizations by example and the pros and cons of its use.
Overview of the State of the Industry
This session explores the state of the industry and global landscape for media and entertainment. It reviews current market forces and how organizations, by example, are reacting to those forces. This includes where supply chain optimization, organizational evolution and evolving data and media management strategies are being effectively applied today - and how vendors are filling gaps. Two hours in length, it also summarizes broader strategic considerations across an organization including vendor consolidation. Example integrated cross supply chain workflow, media management strategies and solutions are provided, covering case studies and highlighting supplier offerings.State of the Industry in Multi-platform Fulfillment and Optimization
The demand for fulfillment to many channels, platform and partners has significantly challenged our industry and our supply chains - whether it is the business needs, the technology infrastructure, or the supporting implications of the larger supply chain and organization. The audience for this session is operational and technology leadership exploring the state of the multi-platform and streaming vendor and solutions. Two hours in length, it reviews tactical needs and broader strategic considerations across across the media supply chain and organization.
